Anorak has been around for many years, but not so much in military use since WW2. Now we bring it back to you with some modifications for today’s military use.
Combat Anorak is maybe the best option for winter use, it can also be used in the summer and works great with plate carrier, chest rig etc. An anorak is not made to be slim fit; it is made to have extra space for clothes under and with that you get better circulation from sweating and for faster drying.
Normal jacket has minimum with ventilation when you use plate carrier, etc. You have now option to add long side zips for ventilation if needed.
Tips: If you are Medium and plan to use it the whole year, go for Medium size. But you can go down one size and use Small size for summer use without any extra clothing under for better fit. Take measurements over the clothing that will be worn under the anorak.

Helmet compatible hood with front zip.
Front pocket with loop for attaching rope.
“Handwarmer” pocket below the plate carrier.
Arms on the anorak is more like Regular/Long length.
Large zipped arm pockets with ID Velcro. Arm pockets has holder for pens, light sticks.
When you use “body armor” it’s not recommended to have anything in the chest pocket because of impact. So, we made the arm pockets same size as normal chest pockets. What you normally have in the chest pocket - fit in the arm pocket.
Take measurements over the clothing that will be worn under the anorak.
